Taste of the West Awards
Hereford Coeliac Food Fair
Saturday 3rd of July was our first dedicated coeliac food show. We took seven varieties of our normal sausages and made them all gluten free.
After much acclaim and 4 hours of madness we had vertually sold out.
Can't wait to do the next one. The looks on peoples faces as they tired not only a quality sausage but also having so much choice was amazing.

Entries for this years awards are now being sought by Taste of The West. We have entered 5 of our sausages into the competion, results out early August.

British Sausage Week 2nd - 8th November 2009
Beerfest Banger makes finals.
Our Beerfest Banger made the regional finals of this years competition.
Having seen off hundreds of other competitors we finished in the top 8 - a fantastic achievement for our first entry!

"Wedmore has been recognised as being the best place in Somerset to buy food in a prestigious new award. Shopkeepers in the village celebrated winning a top prize at the recent Blackmore Vale Media Taste of Somerset Awards.
Farm shop owner Alan Hector said: "I can speak on behalf of all the traders in Wedmore to say we were thrilled to receive the award. We all try to provide the very best for our customers in terms of quality and variety and this award is a real boost for us all."
